Anna
Hospital Manager
Growing up on a dairy farm in Iowa, Anna was always surrounded by animals, but she never imagined veterinary medicine would one day become her career. After moving out west and looking for work, a temp agency placed her as a receptionist at a veterinary hospital, and she immediately knew she had found her calling. The energy, the compassion, and the daily interactions with pets and their people gave Anna the sense of belonging she was searching for.
After joining Eugene Animal Hospital full-time, Anna quickly moved up the ranks, training as an assistant manager and ultimately stepping into the role of hospital manager. She thrives in the fast-paced, ever-changing environment, where no two days are alike, and every challenge is met with teamwork and heart. While many in the veterinary world are here for the animals (and she absolutely is), Anna also loves the human connections—chatting with clients, easing their worries, and making sure everyone who walks through the door feels welcome and cared for.
At home, Anna’s life is just as full and rewarding. She shares her world with her husband and best friend, Patrick, and their two wonderful children, Ivan and Adalyn. Their family wouldn’t be complete without their Siamese cat, Ronnie, and their turtle, Lucy—both unexpected but cherished additions from the clinic. When she’s not at work, Anna dreams of having more time to travel, hike, and tend to a giant garden. For now, she enjoys live music, nature, yoga retreats, and treasured trips with her childhood friends from Iowa.

Tia
Certified Veterinary Technician
Tia has always been the kind of person who can’t sit still—whether she’s riding horses, managing a busy vet clinic, or tackling the fast-paced world of surgery and dentals. Growing up in Oregon, she was a self-proclaimed “barn rat,” spending every spare moment riding, training, and caring for horses. In high school, Tia took on two jobs—managing a barn and working weekends at a vet clinic, setting the stage for a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine.
Tia’s career path took a brief detour when she became a full-time horse trainer, but the pull of the veterinary field was too strong to ignore. When she was ready for a change, she jumped back in, finding her place at Eugene Animal Hospital. For Tia, it’s not just about working with animals. It’s about the fast-paced environment, the constant learning, and the deep satisfaction of helping both pets and their people. She especially loves surgery and dental procedures, where her skills and experience truly shine.
At home, Tia’s life is just as full. Her husband is a fishing guide in his spare time, and their daughter shares her love of animals—though dance is her true passion. Their household is a lively one, with two Rottweilers, Cole and Pan, five unique and lovable cats, and three beloved horses—Trouble, Brooks, and Prada. Horses have been Tia’s lifelong love, and her proudest achievement isn’t the ribbons or titles she’s won, but the joy of sharing that passion with her daughter.

Nicole
Assistant Hospital Manager & Lead Veterinary Assistant
Nicole’s path to Eugene Animal Hospital began with a fender bender. What started as a chance roadside encounter with one of the clinic’s team members unexpectedly opened the door to the job she’d always dreamed of—and she’s never looked back. She joined the practice in July 2018 and quickly found herself right where she belonged: supporting animals, helping their humans, and becoming part of a team that feels more like family.
Nicole’s passion for veterinary care deepened through her bond with her dog, Ollie. He reminded her just how much high-quality, compassionate care can mean. That connection drove her to make sure every client and patient she meets feels seen, heard, and truly cared for—whether they’re coming in for a routine visit or something more serious.
As Assistant Hospital Manager and Lead Veterinary Assistant, Nicole wears many hats—but what keeps her grounded is the people and pets she serves. Working alongside a team she deeply respects and cares for, she finds joy in the everyday moments: comforting a nervous pet, supporting a teammate, or seeing a patient go home healthy and happy.
Originally from North Bend, Oregon, Nicole now calls Eugene home, where she lives with her partner and young son. Outside of work, she loves being in nature, traveling, and sharing new experiences with her family.
Whether she’s on a clinic bonding trip with her coworkers or heading into a busy Monday morning, Nicole shows up with heart. For her, Eugene Animal Hospital isn’t just where she works—it’s where she’s built a life full of purpose, people, and pets.

Melodie
Veterinary Assistant
From a young age, Melodie knew exactly what she wanted to do—work with animals. Growing up in Apple Valley, California, she never imagined any other path for herself. Helping both sick and healthy pets thrive was more than a dream; it was a calling that shaped her goals from the very beginning.
That dream became reality in November 2023 when Melodie joined Eugene Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant. From day one, she found herself not only in the career she had always wanted, but surrounded by a team that quickly felt like family. She values the strong sense of support and camaraderie at Eugene Animal Hospital, where she works alongside people who share her passion and dedication to the community.
Melodie loves the hands-on aspect of her role—connecting with pets, reassuring their owners, and being a part of a team that strives for the best possible care. She especially appreciates the fun, tight-knit culture at the clinic, where playful moments and even the occasional prank (often involving Dr. Jodi) make every day memorable.
Outside of work, Melodie lives in Elmira, surrounded by animals she loves—dogs, chickens, and horses all play a part in her daily life. Riding and caring for her horses is one of her greatest joys, along with exploring nature whenever she gets the chance.
For Melodie, being at Eugene Animal Hospital isn’t just a job—it’s the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, where every day brings the chance to care, connect, and grow alongside both animals and people.

Taylinn
Veterinary Assistant
Taylinn’s story starts on the back of a horse, galloping across the fields of her family’s ranch in Eugene. Raised among animals and mentored by horse trainers in her own family, Taylinn didn’t just grow up around animals—she grew up learning their language. From a young age, she understood the kind of quiet bond that forms when you work closely with them, and she knew that caring for animals would always be part of her life.
Her first step into the professional world of animal care began with dogs, not horses. At K9 Ridgeline, she worked hands-on training dogs and discovered how deeply fulfilling it was to support animals in a structured, healing environment. That experience sparked a shift in focus—she began searching for a place where she could turn her lifelong connection with animals into a lasting career. She found that place in August 2023, when she joined Eugene Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant.
At the hospital, Taylinn brings the same patience, skill, and care she once used training horses to the pets and clients she now serves. She thrives on building trust with families and their animals, and she finds joy in being part of a team that shares her commitment to gold standard care.
When she’s not at the clinic, Taylinn can be found on horseback with her horse Whizkey, often accompanied by her loyal dog, Dally. She competes in barrel races, trains regularly, and travels to equestrian events—carrying the rhythm of ranch life with her wherever she goes.
For Taylinn, veterinary medicine isn’t just a career—it’s the natural evolution of a life spent in the company of animals.

Naiya
Hospital Coordinator
Naiya has been passionate about animals for as long as she can remember. Her journey in animal care began at a local dog wash, where she quickly fell in love with the energy and connection that comes from working with pets. That early experience inspired her to dive deeper into the field—first as a kennel technician, then as a surgery assistant, and eventually as a veterinary technician where she met with pet owners and supported their animals through every step of care.
Through each role, Naiya discovered a new appreciation for the bond between pets and their people. She found her true calling as a receptionist, where she combines her extensive background in animal care with a natural talent for communication and client service. Whether she’s helping a nervous pet parent or welcoming a wagging tail into the clinic, Naiya strives to make every experience warm, reassuring, and personal.
At Eugene Animal Hospital, Naiya is proud to be part of a team that shares her dedication to compassionate care. She brings energy, empathy, and a strong work ethic to everything she does—and she’s always ready with a smile (and a treat, if allowed!).
Naiya has a special love for German Shepherds and shares her home with one of her own. When she’s not at work, you can usually find her outdoors—hiking, camping, or exploring nature with her dog, her boyfriend, and close friends. She also enjoys spending time with her family and finding meaningful ways to give back to others in her community.
